
Athanasios Mouzas
Athanasios Mouzas works as Buildings & Infrastructure Projects Inspector at TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD Group) assuring the conformity to the contractual requirements of Specifications - Standards - Regulations, as well as safety standards and operational readiness for the benefit of the end-users. He received his master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Moreover, he is certified from the Passive House Institute as a Passive House Designer, being also CQI & IRCA certified as a Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems and he is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, the American Concrete Institute – ACI™ and the Association for Materials Protection and Performance – AMPP™.
He is specialized in the durability & pathology of reinforced concrete, in the repair & protection of reinforced concrete structures according to the principles and methods of the European standard EN 1504 and in the crystalline waterproofing technologies. He has participated in the revision of some ETEP in collaboration with ELOT members and has been experienced in concrete laboratory analysis & testing, in certification of construction products according to the Regulation (EU) No 305/2011, in non-destructive testing, in drafting technical specifications and in building energy upgrades.
