President of the Hellenic Association of Chemical Industries - C.E.O. of Vitex SA

Armodios was born in Piraeus, Greece on 1972. He studied Business administration in Athens and holds an MA in Management. Since 1995 he held managerial positions in the family-owned company, which produces architectural paints (Vitex), waterproofing materials (Hermes), thermal insulation systems (VitexTHERM). Vitex S.A. employs 430 people in Greece, Serbia and Bulgaria. Since 2000 he is an executive VP of the group and since 2012 the C.E.O.
As an entrepreneur, Armodios enjoys competition and interaction with customers. He is a supporter of innovation not only in technological aspects but also in marketing and management practices. Vitex’s principles regarding honesty and transparency are strongly fostered by Armodios who believes the company should be a breeding ground for accountable and effective professionals that take initiatives. He is a stakeholder capitalism promoter and practices inclusive and supportive leadership.
Armodios has served in positions representing the paints and chemicals industries in the EU and in Greece. He has been or currently is:
• Vice President of the Hellenic Association of Chemical Industries (President 2005 - 2009).
• Secretary General of EENE Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association.
• Member of the Board of CEPE (Nomination Committee), the European Paint & Inks Manufacturers Association
• Member of the Board of Essentially Greek (Ελλαδικά μας)
