Διδάσκουσα στο Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα του «Raymond Lemaire International Centre for Conservation» του K.U. Leuven Βελγίου, από το 1991 και στο Διατμηματικό Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών του Ε.Μ.Π. «Προστασία Μνημείων», από το 1998.
Μόνιμη Υπάλληλος Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού (1980-2015). Προϊσταμένη της Διεύθυνσης Τεχνικών Ερευνών Αναστήλωσης, που δημιουργήθηκε με δική της πρωτοβουλία (2004-2007) και της Διεύθυνσης Μελετών Μουσείων και Πολιτιστικών Κτιρίων (2010-2014). Εκπόνηση 39 μελετών και επίβλεψη 22 έργων στερέωσης και αποκατάστασης μνημείων, συμπεριλαμβανομένων μνημείων της Παγκόσμιας Κληρονομιάς (Ακρόπολη Αθηνών, Μονή Δαφνίου, Μονή Οσίου Λουκά). Έλεγχος και έγκριση πλήθους μελετών νέων και υφιστάμενων κατασκευών.
Ερευνητικά ενδιαφέροντα: Τεκμηρίωση, αποτίμηση και ανασχεδιασμός ιστορικών κατασκευών. Διερεύνηση της μηχανικής συμπεριφοράς κατασκευών από τοιχοποιία, τεχνικές επεμβάσεων και ανάπτυξη καινοτόμων υλικών και μεθόδων επισκευής και ενίσχυσης. Σχεδιασμός και εφαρμογή υδραυλικών ενεμάτων. Χρήση μη- καταστρεπτικών μεθόδων διερεύνησης. Συμμετοχή σε 27 ερευνητικά έργα, σε 8 από αυτά ήταν Επιστημονική Υπεύθυνος. Έχει δημοσιεύσει πάνω από 90 επιστημονικές εργασίες, 2 βιβλία και 7 κεφάλαια σε βιβλία.

Head of the Directorate for Technical Research on Restoration, created on her own initiative (2004-2007) and of the Directorate of Studies of Museums and Cultural Buildings (2010-2014). Elaboration of the design of 39 structural restoration projects and supervision of the restoration works of 22 monuments, including World Heritage sites (Acropolis of Athens, Daphni Monastery, Hosios Loukas Monastery). Control and approval of numerous structural designs of new and old constructions.
Research field: Documentation, assessment and redesign of historic structures. Investigation of the mechanical behaviour of masonry structures, intervention techniques and development of innovative materials and methods. Design and application of hydraulic grouts. Use of non-destructive investigation methods.
Participation in 27 research projects, in 8 of them she was the Principal Investigator.
She has published more than 90 scientific works, 2 books and 7 chapters in books
